Etenesh Hadis was a former Ethiopian diplomat for Scandinavian and East European countries.
She worked in the past as a head of Eritrean women and was there in charge of youth organizations, women organizations and trade union in Eritrea. In Ethiopia she worked with community women and under the Ministry of Community Development and Social Affairs a as a head of orphanage in Addis Ababa.

In Austria she is the Founder and coordinator of the African Women’s Organization, Austria.

Mrs. is a Executive Board Member of the Austrian Women Ring and Member of the EU Civil Society Platform against Trafficking in Human Beings.
