PROTECTION AGAINST GENITAL MUTILATION!

Over 200 million girls and women worldwide suffer the consequences of female genital mutilation (FGM). More than 3 million girls are still victims of FGM every year and have to live with the health and psychological consequences. In AUSTRIA thousands of women are affected by it! Since 1996, the African Women's Organization has been dedicated to the FIGHT against FGM worldwide.
Direct, concrete and explaining!

COUNSELING & SUPPORT IN THE FIGHT AGAINST FGM

A counseling service must be continuous and confidential. To make it possible, your donation is needed. You help women and girls to protect themselves from mutilation. But you also help women and girls who are already suffering from the consequences of mutilation.

ASSISTANCE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD

A complex medical consultation, usually very intimate, must be conducted competently, continuously and confidentially. To make it possible, your donation is needed. You help women and girls who already suffer from the consequences of mutilation to a new painless quality of life.

EDUCATION & NETWORKING IN THE FIGHT AGAINST FGM

It takes a lot of effort to make people aware of this issue. Events are elaborate, cost a lot of time and money. With your help, these events can continue - until this torture against women finally "goes away".
